Mission & philosophy
I don’t believe a day is measured by its schedule. I believe it’s measured by the seconds you didn’t plan: the hand squeezed too hard, the laugh that broke halfway into a cry, the quiet before the door opens.
So we build the day around intention instead of tradition. No forced poses, no timeline that runs you. Just enough direction to let you forget I’m there, and enough attention that nothing true slips past.
What you keep afterwards isn’t a record of what happened. It’s the temperature of it.

About the photographer
Pure Zero Photography is adventure elopements and nature-based weddings rooted in the Pacific Northwest. The work is quiet, honest coverage for couples who care more about how the day felt than how it looked on a timeline.
Those small things are fragile. A hand squeeze, a laugh that breaks, the light just before it leaves. That is what I pay attention to. I stay early, stay out of the way, and let you forget the camera is there.
