My First Blog.

Okay, okay. I know, I am totally late to the blogging thing.

I have never actually had any free time to sit down and write one. Also, who am I kidding? I don’t have the time now, but I feel like its really important to be able to share full sessions!

So many of you see the work on social media and think, “WOW! I would love to see more!”. I know I do it! So, here we are, at my first blog post. Ironically, this isn’t even going to be a wedding blog post. This is about my favorite session(s) from this year!

Beth and Devin | Seattle Freaking Washington

Can I just say, Devin already said he would murder me if I told people about Seattle summers. It is this magical time of the year in the PNW that has sunny days, warm haze, and all of the full beauty that it has to offer. Beth and Devin hosted me for 4 beautiful days and we laughed, and planned, and plotted our shoot for the next day.

Not to mention we drank a LOT of good beer, ate our weight in delicious food, and rewarded ourselves on a job well done after shooting.

I can honestly say, I have always loved Seattle, even in the winter, but the summer is almost too unreal for words. From waterfalls, to breweries (shout-out to Fremont Brewery!) and ending with the most beautiful sail on the Puget Sound. I have officially given a little piece of my heart to the PNW, and below you can see why.

Cant wait to watch these two get hitched in the San Juan Islands next year!

Day 1.

Day 2.

You guys. We hiked IN and UP the river to get here. It was incredible!!

Day 3.
Beth and I planned and planned and bounced ideas off of each other for MONTHS leading up to these photos. Beer has and is a huge staple in Beth and Devin’s relationship. She works for the rad Fremont Brewery in Seattle, and Devin does a really good job drinking it. (ha!). She knew that we needed to incorporate beer somehow and I think we nailed it.

Not only that, but I had a vision for the sailing photos, and it was perfectly executed. Along with food, wine, beer, and some extra friends (thanks Brit and Scott for letting me snag some of you too!). Thanks guys for making this trip so perfect!
